Job Description: This position will develop and implement data management strategies to support successful implementation, evaluation, and scale of two high-stakes behavioral health programs serving students, families, schools, and medical providers across Central Texas.

This position has an end date of 8/31/21, renewable based upon availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward program goals.

Responsibilities

Extract, clean, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources using advanced tools and following approved processes and protocols.

Advise internal and external stakeholders in best practices for data collection, organization, and transmission. Serve as point person for data questions. Fulfill data requests from colleagues, leadership, funders, and institutional partners. Represent Dell Medical School in inter-institutional data governance committees. Develop predictive models to inform long-term planning.

Prepare reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate data to a variety of audiences. Develop technical workflows, project plans, and timelines to ensure scalable data management processes and increase efficiencies across platforms, departments, teams, and institutions.

Monitor data infrastructure and processes for compliance with regulatory, internal, and partner requirements needed to access or share health data. Provide training and support to staff and students to help ensure data security.

In collaboration with program coordinators and clinical staff, analyze quantitative and qualitative data from satisfaction surveys, focus groups, and other sources to monitor quality, assess fidelity of program implementation, and drive continuous improvement.

Supervise full-time staff and student assistants, as needed. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other activities. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Information Sciences, Public Health, or related research- or data-centered field. Two (2) years of professional experience in data management and analysis. Advanced proficiency in at least one (1) data management platform, eg, MS Excel. Experience with development, interpretation, and implementation of data security policies and procedures. Experience with review and selection of data management and analysis strategies, methods, and tools. Experience developing reports, dashboards, visualizations, and datasets for a variety of audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate with others in a clear, understandable, and professional manner. Sound judgment in decision-making. Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to change to ensure. Preferred Qualifications

More than two (2) years of professional experience in data management and analysis. Professional experience in data management and analysis in an educational or healthcare setting. Ability to write SQL queries. Advanced proficiency in more than one (1) data management platform or data analysis software, eg., R Studio. Proficiency in at least one (1) data visualization tool, eg, Tableau. Experience working with large longitudinal medical or educational datasets. Experience working with educational or health data related to behavioral or mental health. Knowledge of design, implementation, and technical requirements of telehealth programs. Experience working in an Electronic Medical Record or similar system to track patient encounters, communications, and outcomes.

Salary Range

$55,000 + depending on qualifications
