High School Biology/Math Teacher

Job Description:

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory of Oakland County is seeking a full-time highly qualified

teacher for the 2022-23 school year. The ideal candidate has experience teaching in a

secondary school setting, and hold a State of Michigan Certification in secondary education/biology/math

instruction. OLSM’s start date is in August of 2022.

Qualifications/Requirements:

All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit shall be certified and/or

approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan.

All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are

assigned to teach.

Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) including all courses and state tests needed to meet credential

requirements.

Attend a Protecting God’s Children workshop, and complete a background check with

fingerprints.
